SEATTLE YOUTH FLY FISHERS
This group is just beginning its third year and, among other things hopes to involve high school age students from a broader area. Until now, it has been primarily Garfield High School students. These students are eager to help grow the group and work is underway to make it happen. In addition to classes which introduce students to fly fishing, actual fishing outings on both fresh and salt water are in the works for the 2005/6 school year.

The students are eager to bring what they have learned and share it with younger students. SYFF members are looking at ways to give brief workshops that will bring the excitement of fly fishing and the outdoors to elementary school kids.
